The Rowan EDC has released its 2021 Annual Report, looking back at a year that saw significant growth, and laid the foundation for the years to come.
The eight-page document recaps a year in which the Rowan EDC assisted in creating 284 new jobs and $33.5 million in capital investment.
It also looks at the upcoming development, as more than 10 million square feet of industrial space is under development along the I-85 corridor.
Other articles in the Annual Report focus on the Rowan EDC’s Forward Rowan Campaign, talent attraction efforts, wages in Rowan, staff updates, and much more.
“We’re going to look back at 2021 as a foundational year for Rowan County that sets the stage for a booming decade,” said Rod Crider, Rowan EDC President. “This Annual Report is a great summary of the Rowan EDC’s activities in 2021 as we prepare for a bright future.”
