The Rowan EDC has released its 2022 Annual Report, looking back at a year that saw significant growth, and laid the foundation for the years to come.

The eight-page document recaps a year in which the Rowan EDC assisted in creating 2,884 new jobs and $597.7 million in capital investment.

Other articles in the Annual Report focus on the Rowan EDC’s talent attraction efforts, wages in Rowan, staff updates, and much more.

“I think it is safe to say that our ‘wave’ will continue to build momentum for many years to come, but it is also not a time to rest on our laurels,” said Rod Crider, Rowan EDC President. “Our history tells us that we must stay vigilant, recognize changes in the market, and adjust in real-time just as we have been doing for many years. With that outlook and attitude, we can continue to build a Rowan County that increases prosperity, reduces poverty, and improves the quality of life for all.
